Chronology

1935 Rod Dudley was born in Melbourne; attended State schools and Wesley College. After a number of work experiences, he became a teacher of art in Victoria, Australia. He left Melbourne in 1965 with an Italian Government Travelling Scholarship to study at the Brera Accademy, Milan, string Marino Marini and Alik Cavaliere.
1969 Rod worked in Italy on sculptures and paintings, showed in Holland at Hengelose Kunzaal.
1970 Onorato Workshop, Milan, Biesje Gallery, Amsterdam, Qantas Gallery, Rome.
1971 Prize show- GALLERIA S’ FEDELE,MILAN, showed multiples in Germany, & Rome.
1973 Showed “Tall Women” at Triennale di Milano, (works now in the connection of the ADELAIDE FESTIVAL THEATRE) Kym Bonython Gallery, Sydney, Gallery La Bertesca, Genoa. Sculptures in collections of: Phillip Morris, Transfield, Power, & Art Gallery of S.Australia.
1974 Realities Gallery, Melbourne. Studio Condotti 85, Rome.
1975 Cologne Art Fair with Schonbrunn Gallery, Frankfurt/M , Cabib Gallery, Genoa.
1976 Gallery D’Eendt, Amsterdam, Operazione Arcevia of Ico Parisi at Venice Biennale. From1975 to 1979 with Nicholas Treadwell Gallery, London at all European art Fairs.
